Best Family Hotels in Copenhagen
A family list is worth nothing unless it says what it checked, so this one checked one thing: whether the hotel's own site names a room that sleeps more than two, and what it says about children. Four of the thirteen properties we have reviewed in Copenhagen do. Everything else that gets called family-friendly — a park nearby, a flat pavement, a city that is easy with children — is true of most of Copenhagen and is in the area guides rather than here.

MEININGER Hotel Copenhagen
Vesterbro
The only property here built around large rooms rather than offering them: its own site lists triple, quad, five-bed and six-bed rooms, free cots on request, and a guest kitchen. Vesterbro scores 6.0 for families, so the room is the reason, not the street.
Copenhagen Admiral Hotel
Indre By
Names family rooms — Loft Deluxe, for two adults and two children — and states that children up to three stay free in their parents' bed. It is also the quietest end of Indre By, on the harbour front rather than on a shopping street.
Comwell Copenhagen Portside
Østerbro
Offers rooms with connecting doors, cots and a children's menu, in the area that scores highest in the city for families at 8.5. The cost is the evening: Østerbro scores 5.5 for nightlife and Nordhavn is its quietest corner.
Hotel Copenhagen
Islands Brygge
Its own site names four-bed rooms and two apartments — one with four beds, one with four plus two — and calls itself family-friendly. It is also ten minutes from the airport by metro, which matters more with children than without.
